There’s certainly a Radical Left position on the political spectrum. But I wouldn’t say that it has much of a foothold in America. A few ratbags in universities, perhaps.
So you deny everything I’ve presented about what the Radical Left is doing? The rioting, censorship, demonization, cancel culture, all of it? You don’t believe it’s happening?
If you mean the Democrats, they are about as far left as the Girl Guides.
I don’t mean the Democrats, that’s why I’ve been using the term Radical Left this whole time.
I suppose you consider Bernie Sanders to be a radical socialist, whereas the truth is that his views are about as middle of the road as you can get.
It doesn’t matter where he falls on the global political spectrum because he’s an American politician.
America as a whole is skewed so far right compared to the rest of the Western World it just sounds hilarious to hear you.
I’m grateful for that; I can’t imagine how bad you guys must have it. But I must again point out that my essays have all been about American politics, not global politics, so the validity of my claims doesn’t depend on how humorous or not the rest of the world views things.
Trust me, there’s not a lot of danger that America is going to develop forced urban collectives under the swinging corpses of the billionaires any time soon.
There was literally an urban collective takeover in Seattle. I went there. The city did nothing to end it until people started getting killed.
America has a lot of problems, but the danger of a socialist revolution isn’t one of them. You can put your feet up and stow that particular worry at the back of the garage of your mind.
I completely disagree, and I’ve spent thousands of words explaining why. This isn’t enough to convince me otherwise.
